Fundamentally you can mix all RefectoCil colours – with the exception of RefectoCil No. 4 chestnut - with one another. However, we recommend this only to experienced users! With the available RefectoCil colours a multiplicity of shades can be achieved and almost all clients’ wishes fulfilled. Please note that RefectoCil No. 4 chestnut under no circumstances should be mixed with other RefectoCil colours! In addition you should never mix RefectoCil eyelash and eyebrow tints with other eyelash and eyebrow brands.
The application time is different from client to client; it depends on the hair of the client. The tinting effect increases with longer application time. The application time in general is up to 10 minutes, with RefectoCil No. 4 chestnut, No. 4.1 red and No. 0 blond up to 20 minutes. If you do not have very much experience with tinting, remove the tinting paste after 2-3 minutes from one eyebrow and check the result and/or show the client. If the tinting result is not intensive enough yet, apply the tinting paste again and leave longer.
The application time is different from person to person, it depends on the structure of the lashes.The application times for normal/thin eyelashes are:
LashPerm: 15 min.
Neutralizer: 10 min.
Tint after perm: 2 min.
ATTENTION: Longer application times are necessary for thick/strong eyelashes.
LashPerm: 25 to 30 min.
Neutralizer: 15 to 20 min.
Tint after perm: 5 to 10 min.

Use a timer for the correct application time, so that you can return to the client in time. By the way: with closed eyes the client’s ability for orientation and communication is decreased. Provide the client with a small bell so you can be called any time should it become necessary
After the eyelash and eyebrow tinting carefully comb the hairs with a lash comb or brush – in this way the tinting result will look even better!
For shiny eyebrows during the day use a little RefectoCil LongLash Gel on the eyebrows in the morning.
The application on brows requires some practice, since the bleaching paste is somewhat more coarse-grained compared with brow and lash tints.

TO LIGHTEN EYEBROWS UP TO 3 SHADES
When is RefectoCil Blonde Brow used?
1. To lighten untreated eyebrows.
2. To lighten before a tint.
Often the natural eyebrow colour is too dark for the desired tint colour.
By lightning eyebrows, various colour results - even lighter tints can be achieved.
3. To be able to tint grey, white or bristly eyebrows.
These types of eyebrows are often not able to take up the tint colour due to their special structure. Lightening the untreated hair with Blonde Brow first, allows for a tint afterwards.
RefectoCil Blonde Brow is ONLY intended for eyebrows – NOT FOR EYELASHES – and should not be mixed with other colours.
What do I need?
RefectoCil Blonde Brow, RefectoCil Oxidant 3% Cream (NOT RefectoCil Oxidant 3% liquid), RefectoCil Cosmetic Dish, RefectoCil Cosmetic Brush gold (Pic. 1).
Before tinting: for a gentle cleansing of the eyebrows use the non-oily RefectoCil Eye Make-Up Remover. In order to achieve the best possible tinting results the eyebrows must be dry and free of oil.
Preparation of tint: immediately before tinting, mix 2 cm of RefectoCil Blonde Brow and 20-25 drops of RefectoCil Oxidant Cream in the RefectoCil Cosmetic Dish using the enclosed RefectoCil Cosmetic Brush gold and blend into a creamy paste for at least 2 minutes (Pic. 2).
Lightning: After the customer has closed her eyes, apply the paste with the cosmetic brush to the eyebrows.
Take Care: the hairs have to be completely covered from root to tip. Also work against the direction of growth. An even tint can only be achieved if the eyebrows
are completely covered and no hair is visible (Pic. 3).
Application time: 5-20 minutes depending on the desired lightening shade.
Application time: Results:
05 minutes 1 shade lighter
20 minutes 3 shades lighter
12 minutes 2 shades lighter
Cleansing: at the end of the application time, remove paste with RefectoCil Eye Make-Up Remover.
Important note : Tint after lightening (Point 2): Please take care that eyebrows need to be oil free before tinting. Also note that lightend eyebrows take on colour quicker and more intensely than untreated hair. The intensity of the tint can vary depending on the structure of the hair and the lightning shade. We suggest, depending on the desired result, an application time of 1 to 5 minutes.
